Hello, I am Sabine.

I am a people manager and software developer. I am currently Mobile Lead at IBM iX Studio Berlin. I previously worked on mobile apps like the Digital Concerthall, Wire App and Bertha.

I have 15 years of experience in working for small to medium-sized start-ups in different leadership roles from Project Management, Online Marketing to Software Development.

In addition, I have 6 years of experience planning and executing UIKonf - a 4-day event for 500 iOS developers with an international, high-profile line-up. Our latest edition in 2020 was an all-remote conference.

I enjoy looking outside of the box, too, as can be seen by my career changes (Biotech / Research - Online Marketing - Software Development) and my conference work. These activities give me a broader perspective on the different roles in a start-up and create a deeper understanding and empathy for challenges outside of my current working field. They also help me use and expand skills that I can't exercise within my current employment.
